Pride: You are a remarkable business person with astonishing ideas. You can take care of everything in your business! Although you are well adept sales persons, your marketing plan has failed.
Consequence: Costly rework and lost time --You must start anew and come up with another way to fill your pipeline.
Solution: Hire an expert at marketing so the 1st plan is the only plan you have to utilize to fill your pipeline.

Envy
: Your competition is in every magazine & newspaper in the area, at every local Expo, and they are even on TV!
Consequence: You go broke trying to keep up with your competition.
Solution: Become a focus factory -- Target your niche and expend resources only on your focused market. You will receive a higher return on your investment.

Gluttony: You purchased an excess inventory of new promotional products, and they are all sitting on your shelf.
Consequence: The money you invested in promoting your company is sitting on a shelf, not creating those touches with prospects and clients.
Solution: USE YOUR PROMOTIONAL ITEMS! Don't wait for the perfect time to use them. pass them out at every appropriate time; you can always order more. Thread Art can even set up a system where we can automatically reorder items as you need them, by helping you set up a par system.

Lust: I LOVE THAT!!! It is the perfect item for me. I can't wait to get it! (and the other 200 I have to order for anyone else)
Consequence: The item that you picked spoke to YOU, not the recipients of your promotion, and the effectiveness of the promotion was lost.
Solution: Order your promotional items with your target market in mind and the effectiveness of the promotion will be incredible.

Wrath: You spent a bunch of money on promotional items, and they did not work for you! So, you never want to use promotional items again!
Consequence: You wasted money on items that did not work in the way you had hoped.
Solution: Order promotional items with a plan in mind, not the other way around. By picking the right item for your promotion, you can reap the benefits.

Greed: You have a budget of $150, and you want to get as many items as you can! Quantity over Quality. You buy a bunch of $.05 pens that break the first or second time you use them, and they all end up in the trash.
Consequence: Instead of utilizing your $150, you threw it away (which is what literally is happening with your promotional items).
Solution: Pick an item that won't break on the first use, and has some staying power.

Sloth: Instead of working on your promotion as soon as you know you have need of one (tradeshow, sponsorship, etc), you delay working by putting off making a decision or a phone call, and wait till the last minute to order your promotional items.
Consequence: You pay much more for your promotional items because of rush fees & overnight shipping, which can make the promotional items two times more expensive.
Solution: Call or email Thread Art AS SOON AS you schedule an event, so they can help create a marketing solution.
